It is always delightful to experience the moment a painting takes on a life of its own. One instant there is a combination of marks on a surface and then with a single stroke it can be transformed. I consider each subject I paint as an opportunity to create a work of art that reveals both beauty and timelessness. As an artist it is satisfying to know that my painting one day might become a favorite heirloom or provide contentment to many in years to come. I am grateful for this talent as an artist and pray that my work can bring joy to the lives of others. My challenge, as an artist, is to live up to the standard of excellence established by artists through the ages and all the great painters.. I constantly strive to reach the highest artistic plateau in order to best achieve my aspirations; to create drawings and paintings that will not only meet but also hopefully outshine all expectations. ![]() EXHIBITS & AWARDS ![]() ECCA "Isang Samahang Makasining" Krismas Eksibit 2009 GSIS Museum Exhibit during the AAP Competition 2009 Kanlungan ng Sining Exhibit after the AAP Competition 2009 "Pista ng Sining"at Kanlungan ng Sining Rizal Park 2010 GSIS Art Competition / Exhibition / 2010 AAP-ECCA "Mother and Child" Competition / Exhibition / GSIS Museum 2010 Gyeongsan Art Festival, Gyeongsan City, Korea-Mr. Hyun Mo Park: Co-Chairman, 60th Anniversary of Korea-Philippines Diplomatic Relation past President, United Korean Community Association in the Philippines (December 2010) "Kaluskos Musmos” 6th Group Art Exhibit of Filipino Artists : Realist Movement East Avenue Medical Center – A Health Art Exhibit to benefit the Department of Pediatrics.
